Excursion To Science City – 2026

October 1st, 2026

The Day Science Came Alive!

Imagine stepping into a world where science isn’t just a subject in a book, but a mind-bending playground packed with mysteries! On September 19th, our school organized an unforgettable excursion to Science City for Classes 1 through 5. I can proudly say it was the most thrilling day of the year!

Why Science Excursions Matter

Textbook Concepts Come Alive: Topics like light reflection, acoustics, and mechanical advantage transform into real physical experiences.

Hands-On Learning: Interactive exhibits let us touch, test, and discover scientific theories directly.

Curiosity & Teamwork: Exploring together builds curiosity, problem-solving, and great memories with friends.

Epic Highlights from the Trip

The Mysterious Mirror Maze: Curved mirrors bent light rays to stretch and shrink our reflections, making us look like alien creatures!

The Physics Yard: Pulling giant ropes connected to pulleys allowed us to lift massive weights effortlessly, giving us instant Hulk super-strength.

Sound Park & Space Dome: Parabolic dishes bounced whispers across long distances, and the dome theater felt like traveling through galaxies on a real spaceship.

Key Learning Outcomes

Optics & Light: We saw firsthand how convex and concave surfaces bend light waves to alter visual perception.

Mechanical Advantage: We experienced how simple machines like pulleys reduce the force needed to lift heavy masses.

Acoustics & Sound Waves: We learned how parabolic reflectors focus sound energy so it can travel efficiently over long distances.

Food, Friends, and Future Explorers

After a morning of nonstop discovery, we gathered under shady trees to swap snacks, laugh, and relax together.

This trip proved that science isn’t just trapped in textbooks—it’s an epic playground where anyone can become a superhero explorer! September 19th will forever be the day science truly came alive for us.
