Mock Fire Drill: Learning to Stay Safe and Prepared

December 2nd, 2025

A Mock Fire Drill was conducted in the school premises on 21st November 2025, aiming to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills to face emergency situations with confidence. The students of Classes IX to XII actively took part in the drill and learned important safety procedures under the guidance of trained instructors.

The session included demonstrations on how to extinguish fire safely, how to evacuate a building in an orderly manner, and the correct method of using a fire extinguisher. Students were also briefed on the immediate first aid measures to be given to anyone injured during such incidents.

In addition to practical training, students were made aware of the various causes of fire breakouts, helping them understand how everyday negligence can lead to dangerous situations. The hands-on training encouraged students to practice the techniques themselves, making the learning experience both engaging and effective.

The mock drill not only heightened awareness but also strengthened the students’ ability to respond responsibly during emergencies. It was a valuable experience that emphasized the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and calmness in crisis situations.
